These photos were taken during the initial walk through of the Indian dam site. The photos were taken with Fuji iso 100 at f/4 with flash. Lens was a Minolta 28mm
On June 30, 2001, at 2:19 p.m., I.C.P.R conducted it’s first on site investigation into the Indian dam site near Homestead, Iowa. The investigation lasted approximately two hours and was focused primarily near the burial mounds. This is the area where the orb photos were taken on the initial walk through.
Hot, humid, and mostly sunny.
Temperature: 86 degrees
Dew Point: 66 degrees
Humidity: 51 percent
Wind was from the west at 5-15 mph.
Minolta x-700 35 mm camera with flash.
Fuji I.S.O. 400 film.
E.M.F detector and infrared motion sensors.
An E.V.P attempt was also made.
No electromagnetic fields were detected on the site. 24 exposures were taken with no anomalous results. No E.V.P.’s were recorded. It should be noted that the same camera was used on the initial walk through when the orbs were captured. The time of day, and sun conditions were similar, and on both occasions, there were numerous insects present. However, no orbs were captured on the second photo set.
Saturday July 14th 2001. At 8:04 p.m I.C.P.R conducted a second on site investigation into the Indian dam site. The area we focused on was again located near the burial mounds.
The first hour and a half were uneventful and it seemed as though we would be leaving with no activity worth noting, however at about 9:30 p.m the dear in the area became agitated making their presence known by snorting and stomping their feet, it was at this time that the air started to cool and we began capturing orb photos on the digital cameras.
Temp: 79 degrees under a mostly clear sky
Dew Point: 58 degrees. Relative humidity 48 percent
Winds were east at 6 mph
CAMERA ONE: Minolta x-700 35mm with Minolta 28-70mm zoom lens, Flash was a Vivitar 550 FD. Camera one was mounted on a tripod; Film used was Kodak Plus-X pan BxW
CAMERA TWO: Olympus D-400 digital.
CAMERA THREE: Hewlett Packard digital C200
E.M.F DETECTOR: CellSensor 5 foot range
INFRARED MOTION SENSOR: 30-foot range Radio Shack 49-425
RCA cassette recorder with twin modified mics
Unidentified orbs were captured on cameras two and three. Photos from camera one are still being analyzed. E.V.P attempt was inconclusive, and infrared sensors were not tripped. Electro magnetic field detected was .30 mill Gauss. The field was in motion and difficult to track. It should also be noted that deer were observed walking around us through out the investigation and became agitated at the time when the orbs began to show up on the digital cameras.
Photos 1-4 were captured on camera two by Linn County team lead Brian. When photo 3 was takin the flash did not fire, the blue light is behinde a tree and was not visable when the photo was takin.
Research assistant Rick, on camera three, captured Photo 5.
I.C.P.R will conduct more field research on this location throughout the year.
